CāŠ—;
Open a connection to a remote process named "MAIL" (using capitals - case
counts) at the remote site. Once you are open, send commands of the form:
(MAIL (user1) (user2) (user3)...(userN))
in normal LISP form (use / to quote parens if necessary - spaces are alright).
Wait for a reply, which should be either (OK) or some error. If an error,
treat it like an Arpanet message non-delivery. Then send the message in
standard Arpanet RFC 733 form on Dialnet I/O channel 1. When finished, send
an EOF. Then either do another (MAIL) command or (BYE), followed by a CLS
and then RELEASE the Dialnet port to hang up. The idea for the multiple
(MAIL) and more than one user is to send several messages and/or several
copies with one phone transaction.
